posted 09/08/2015

This event is on Monday 3 August 2015

Students Amy Dickson and Stuart Watson , both members of FGB Belfast chapter ,organised a five day outreach near Victoria Square in the heart of Belfast. This event was to promote the Dock Cafe in the Titanic Quarter which is an honesty cafe. You can call in during the daytime from 11 am to 5 30 pm and get soup and a variety of local bread ;tea or coffee ;buns or cakes, free of charge. You can use the honesty box to donate if you can afford to. The outreach team consisted of a praise and worship band and a group of willing helpers giving out leaflets describing the Dock cafe. This took place between two to four pm each afternoon in the Victoria Square area of the city centre. For that week the cafe became an acoustic cafe in the evenings, offering the same facilities accompanied by gospel songs .Visitors who came to sample the hospitality were warmly welcomed. We would like to thank all the volunteers who helped during the week and especially the management team of the Dock cafe itself. God's richest blessings!
